How to panic a hung RHEL Guest on a Hyper V host using an NMI
Issue
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux guest is unresponsive
- When system is hung, you are unable to panic the system using the
sysrqtrigger
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, 5, 6, or 7
- Hyper V host environment (must be Hyper V 2012 R2 or later)
