How to send emails through TLS using Event Notifier in Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.6?
Issue
- How to send notifications via email using TLS without authentication?
- Referring the solution How to configure the email Event Notifier in RHEV did not help and resulting in following errors in
/var/log/ovirt-engine/notifier/notifier.log:
2017-02-14 04:24:56,354 SERVER [org.ovirt.engine.core.notifier.transport.smtp.Smtp sendMail] Failed to send message from user@domain to user@domain with subject resolveMessage (domain), [Migration completed (VM: vm_name, Source: host_name, Destination: host_name, Duration: 3 seconds, Total: 3 seconds, Actual downtime: 15ms)] due to to error: failed to connect, no password specified?
