multipathd dead but pid file exists in RHEL 5 when using CA software
Issue
- Multipathd appears to start fine but is dead when checked with status or ps
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.3
- device-mapper-multipath-0.4.7-23
- Software provided by CA
