Getting error -bash: /sbin/reboot: Input/output error

Issue

• After logging into the server, input/output errors were generated while executing commands.

[root@host ~]# dmesg
-bash: /bin/dmesg: Input/output error
[root@host ~]# fdisk -l
-bash: /sbin/fdisk: Input/output error
[root@host ~]# mount
-bash: /bin/mount: Input/output error
[root@host ~]# cat /var/log/messages
cat: /var/log/messages: Input/output error
[root@host ~]# reboot
-bash: /sbin/reboot: Input/output error
