SCSI Persistent Reservation fencing (fence_scsi) does not work in RHEL 5 or 6 with multiple ESXi VM cluster nodes running on the same host

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Does fence_scsi work with cluster nodes as guests on the same ESXi host?
  • I need to configure a fence device for ESXi VM cluster nodes. fence_scsi works from command line but not from cman
