  • Tzdata has been updated on the system and after update date command is showing different output which is causing application failure.
  • Before update
# rpm -q tzdata
tzdata-2016f-1.el6.noarch
# TZ=Etc/GMT-1 date
Wed May 31 14:40:35 GMT-1 2017
  • After update
# rpm -q tzdata
tzdata-2016g-2.el6.noarch
# TZ=Etc/GMT-1 date
Wed May 31 14:41:35 +01 2017
