The Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 installation with bootable device on MD raid failed on s390x machine with "Bootable partition cannot be on a RAID device."
Issue
- I tried to install
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6onzLinux(s390xarchitecture) with a kickstart file including a configuration for bootable partition on MD raid. But, the installation failed with the following error.
Bootable partition cannot be on a RAID device.
- Is it possible to create a bootable partition on the MD raid in
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6?
