Can't access to JVM Console (jolokia) in Openshift

Issue

Can't access to JVM Console (a.k.a. jolokia) or when accessing the following error is shown:

Error: 'tls: oversized record received with length 20527'
Trying to reach: 'https://10.1.8.12:9001/jolokia/?maxDepth=7&maxCollectionSize=500&ignoreErrors=true&canonicalNaming=false'

Environment

  • Openshift Container Platform 3.2.0 or newer

One of the following situations are true:

  • Using a custom Java image
  • Red Hat supported S2I java-based images created from the ImageStream
