Why does the "service" command doesn't return any output ?

Issue

• Service command on system is not returning any results.
• Have checked with multiple services, tried status, stop, restart, but no output is displayed.
• Coreutils package has been re-installed but nothing works

[root@test ~]# service sshd status
[root@test ~]#

• The command is working on a similar system that was cloned from the same template.
