Why is the samba share on RHEL6 not accessible from windows machines ?

Issue

  • Even after the right configuration of samba(smb.conf), not able to access the samba share folder from windows, it results accepting the authentication, shows the share and home directory but does not allow write access to the share, and even does not allow to open home directory.
