After kdump, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 update 6 fails to initialize be2net interface
Issue

After a successful kdump, Upon boot the following message is seen repeatedly while initializing the hardware
- Controller Status: Redboot Initialization start"
After boot, be2net interfaces are no longer initialized. Following messages are noted in /var/log/messages
Jan 1 07:24:49 localhost kernel: be2iscsi 0000:02:00.3: invalid mailbox completion
Jan 1 07:24:49 localhost kernel: host1: Failed in mgmt_get_fw_config
Jan 1 07:24:49 localhost kernel: host1: Error getting fw config
Jan 1 07:24:49 localhost kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:02:00.3 disabled
Jan 1 07:24:49 localhost kernel: be2iscsi: probe of 0000:02:00.3 failed with error -16
During the kdump process, following message is noticed with initializing the interface
Jan 1 07:24:49 localhost kernel: be2net 0000:02:00.3: mccq poll timed out

- be2net version: 2.102.518r and be2iscsi version:2.0.549.0
