  • System crashes with below messages in the /var/log/messages:
kernel: VMware memory control driver unloaded 
kernel: Removing vmci device
kernel: Unregistered vmci device.
kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:00:07.7 disabled

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • VMware ESX Server
