When extending offline a clean ext4 filesystem to a new size significantly larger than the original one, the resulting filesystem contains errors.
Issue
When resizing a clean and unmounted ext4 filesystem to a size that is significantly larger (e.g. 1000 times) than the origin, the resulting filesystem contains errors and needs to be repaired with fsck.
