  • Unable to edit crontab entries
  • Unable to start crond
[root@localhost Packages]# crontab -e
/bin/vi: No such file or directory
crontab: "/bin/vi" exited with status 1
You have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root
[root@localhost Packages]# service crond status
-bash: /sbin/service: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
