nfsserver resource fails to start reporting "ERROR: Failed to start NFS server: /proc/fs/nfsd/threads" after having configured an invalid nfsd_args value, then updated the configuration to remove it, in a RHEL 7 High Availability cluster
Issue
- My
nfsserverresource is failing to start, referencing/proc/fs/nfsd/threads
nfsserver(nfs-daemons): ERROR: Failed to start NFS server: /proc/fs/nfsd/threads
- I configured an
nfsd_argsvalue, but then realized it was invalid when thenfsserverwouldn't start. However even after I've updated the configuration to not have thatnfsd_argssetting, its still failing.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 with the High Availability Add-On
- One or more
nfsserverresources managed by the cluster- At some point, an
nfsserverresource was configured with annfsd_argsvalue that is no longer needed in the environment
- At some point, an
