The wget program is a standard part of normal Red Hat, Fedora, Ubuntu, and most other Linux distros. Hardware vendor firmware upgrade scripts assume wget is present, so when we run them against Red Hat OpenStack Platform 8.x servers, they attempt to use wget but fail.
Can we safely install the wget package or any other package present in the Red Hat repositories?
