Why is enable_periodic_fsck set to 0 in Red Hat Enterprixse Linux 7
Issue
- We noticed that in
/etc/mke2fs.confin Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7,enable_periodic_fsckis set to 0 by default. In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 this was set to 1 and is therefore causing different behavior. Can you please explain us why the new default is 0? - Why is
enable_periodic_fsckin/etc/mke2fs.confset to 0 on RHEL 7
