Attempts to write files on gfs filesystem returns Invalid slot error

Issue

  • Converted gfs filesystem to gfs2

  • Getting following Error while creating a file.

# touch 12
touch: cannot touch `12': Invalid slot
  • Able to copy files from gfs2 filesystem to local directory but unable to write.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3
  • gfs2 filesystem
