Samba share not allowing access to share because of incorrect file permissions
Issue
This is the share's definition in /etc/samba/smb.conf:
[samba_share]
writable = yes
path = /home/shareme
browseable = yes
inherit permissions = yes
valid users = admin,shareme,peter
But user peter, which is in the valid users list, is unable to access the share:
[peter@server shareme]$ cd Administration
-bash: cd: Administration: Permission denied
