Issue

flow-bifurcation of UDP packets fails to work in i40e driver shipped with RHEL7.3 release kernel when used with Intel X710 NIC cards.
Why do we continue seeing network traffic on physical port with flow-bifurcation set using ethtool for the UDP traffic to be sent over the virtual function?

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3.
3.10.0-514 kernel release version.
Intel i40e v1.5.10-k version
Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller X710 for 10GbE SFP+
