Issue
- RHEL4 network interface with
virtio-netdriver fails to handle jumbo frame packets - When you set up large MTU (eg: 9000) and
ping -s 1500 TARGETfrom guest, you will get 100% packet loss
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (as KVM guest)
- virtio-net network interface
- MTU larger than standard Ethernet MTU
