How can I force the JBoss ON agent to perform a server or service discovery scan?

Issue

  • discovery delay for new resources
  • What parameter do I have to change to detect new resources faster?
  • Sometimes I create a new server resource and it shows up almost right away in discovery queue and sometimes it takes minutes.
  • Is there a way to force this discovery without changing discovery period or interval?
  • Can I force a discovery scan?
  • Rediscovery without removing parent resource from inventory
