What components of Openshift are supported in infra subscription

If we want to use another monitoring technology (like prometheus) instead the Hawkular+Heapster+Cassandra stack, and save specific nodes for that purpose, they will need to use the "nodes" subscription as they don't have any "infrastructure-out-of-the-box" component of OCP, or can we use the "infra" subscription?

Is there any limitation with the "infra" subscription?
