Can the permissions of the CUPS configuration file be changed in RHEL?

Can the ownership and permission of /etc/cups/cupsd.conf be change to the following permission:

rw- --- --- lps sys /etc/cups/cupsd.conf

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, 7, and 8
  • Common Unix Printing System (CUPS)
