Issue

  • IJ000453: Unable to get managed connection

  • IJ000604: Throwable while attempting to get a new connection: null: javax.resource.ResourceException: IJ031084: Unable to create connection:

    ERROR [stderr] (default task-14) Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: JZ0PN: Specified port number of -1 was out of range. Port numbers must meet the following conditions: 0 <= portNumber <= 65535

  • IJ031089: Failed to load datasource: com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybDataSource

    NoSuchMethodException: Method setChar.encoding not found

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 7
  • An EAP datasource configuration which uses com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybDataSource JDBC driver
