Apache 2.4 mod_bmx: Permission denied, DBM failure while processing BMX query

Issue

  • After installation and restart of the httpd, accessing URL /bmx gives an http 500 error and the following is logged in Apache logs:

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.3.6
  • Installed Apache 2.4.6;
  • The user of the httpd folder is root and not apache;
