nicdelay parameter is not respected for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 installation
Issue
- I tried to install
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6with kickstart file in a customer installation ISO. - The kickstart file includes a static network information, and an network interface seems to be activated upon the log message.
- But, I saw a nfs mount failure, and it prompt to correct the repository information.
- It can proceed the installation process by just pressing
Enterwithout any change. - I thought that network was not available actually when it tried the nfs mount.
- I tried nicdelay= boot parameter, but it didn't make any change.
- I tried linksleep= boot parameter as well, but it also didn't make any change.
