Does Red Hat Enterprise Linux provide the /etc/sysctl.d directory?
Issue
- When installing RPMs that also modify
/etc/sysctl.confyou need to make sure the%preand%postscripts from the RPM remove the added section when deleting the RPM. This also applies to RPM upgrades. Is there a directory/etc/sysctl.d/where one can drop a .conf file in with custom sysctl tunings?
