Issue

Red Hat Network Satellite 5.3's cobbler sync incorrectly changes /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default to world-wide writable.

  • Log in to Red Hat Network Satellite's webui as Administrator

  • Go to "Configure RHN Satellite" tab

  • Go to "Cobbler" section
  • Click "Update" button on "Run Cobbler Sync"
  • /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default is incorrect set to 0666 permission instead of 0644
