Unable to create a logical volume on clustered volumegroup

Issue

Fail to create a logical volume on a clustered volume group with below error

  # lvcreate -v -n lv_i10gru1_gfs_archive -l 100%VG vg_i10gru1_gfs_archive
   Setting logging type to disk
   Finding volume group "vg_i10gru1_gfs_archive"
   Archiving volume group "vg_i10gru1_gfs_archive" metadata (seqno 31).
   Creating logical volume lv_i10gru1_gfs_archive
   Creating volume group backup "/etc/lvm/backup/vg_i10gru1_gfs_archive" (seqno 32).
   Clearing start of logical volume "lv_i10gru1_gfs_archive"
   /dev/vg_i10gru1_gfs_archive/lv_i10gru1_gfs_archive: not found: device not cleared
   Aborting. Failed to wipe start of new LV.
   Creating volume group backup "/etc/lvm/backup/vg_i10gru1_gfs_archive" (seqno 33).
