Why I am not able to register RHEL 6 system to Red Hat Network ?

Issue

  • Unable to register RHEL 6 system to Red Hat Network through command line.
  • Command rhn_register fails with :

      From up2date_client import tui
   File “/usr/share/rhn/up2date_client/tui.py”, line 29, in <module>
      Import rhnreg, hardware
   File “/usr/share/rhn/up2date_client/rhnreg.py”, line 23, in <module>
      Import hardware
   File “/usr/share/rhn/up2date_client/hardware.py”, line 26, in <module>
      Import ethtool
ImportError: No module named ethtool
