Why df output does not match with the filesystem mount order specified in /etc/fstab file ?

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • df -h command show file systems out of order
  • Is it normal behaviour ?
  • Is there any way I can get the df output as per the order specified in /etc/fstab.
  • Is there any chance that the child mount-point mounts before the parent mount-point ?
