What is the process of storage V1 or V2 to V3 migration in RHEV?

Storage migration in Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) is process that allows users, who previously migrated to newer version of RHEV, to use all capabilities of the new version of RHEV.
In case of RHEV 3.1 it's necessary to migrate the storage to V3 version in case the user wants to use live snapshot option.
