After upgrading from 6.1.9 to 6.2 and attempting to register clients again that were previously registered "Runtime Error RESTEASY001185: Could not find resource for relative"

Issue

After upgrading from 6.1.9 to 6.2 and attempting to register clients again that were previously registered I am getting the following error message.

Runtime Error RESTEASY001185: Could not find resource for relative : /consumers//entitlements of full path: https://localhost:8443/candlepin/consumers//entitlements at org.jboss.resteasy.core.registry.PathParamSegment.matchPattern:209

The command executed when receiving the message is:

# sudo subscription-manager register --org="Example" --activationkey="RHEL 5" --force

The client was first unregistered by executing:

# sudo subscription-manager unregister
# sudo subscription-manager clean
