Issue

ws-timeout attribute in the configuration file wsrp-consumers-config.xml is completely ignored in JBoss Portal Platform 6.2. Default value is 60 seconds and cannot be changed by setting this attribute.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Set following configuration in the wsrp-consumers-config.xml:

<wsrp-producer id="testProducer" expiration-cache="300" ws-timeout="120000">
  <endpoint-wsdl-url>...some url...</endpoint-wsdl-url>
  <registration-data />
</wsrp-producer>

2) In a remote portlet, simulate a slow rendering (with Thread.sleep or any other way) for more then 1 minute

3) A read timeout exception is thrown after 60 seconds
