JMS Client authorization failure throws non-JMS SessionException instead of JMSSecurityException in qpid-java client

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

When ACLs don't authorize a user to perform an action, Java client raises JMSException. Per JMS specification, JMSSecurityException should be raised rather.

How to get the correct Java exception?

Environment

  • MRG Messaging (any version)
  • qpid Java client (any version)
