scp fails ~50% of transfers with 'Corrupted MAC on input' on HP dc5850

A high percentage of
scptransfers fail withCorrupted MAC on input.or other SSH errors likehash mismatch, orkey_verify failed for server_host_key. -
Similar failures are seen when using
scptolocalhost(127.0.0.1).
