How to configure tigervnc-server to listen on TCP port 6000+X again in RHEL 6.8?
Issue
- When
Xvnc
is enabled on RHEL system, it listens for connections for a VNC client on TCP ports 5800+x, 5900+x, and 6000+x(where x can be between 0-99). As soon astigervnc-server
package is updated totigervnc-server-1.1.0-18.el6
, it stops listening on6000+x TCP
ports. - The problem was not there with
tigervnc-server-1.1.0-16.el6.x86_64
and earlier version oftigervnc-server
. How to fix this issue in RHEL6.8?
