Dmidecode is not able to fetch DMI details in Red Hat Entperprise Linux 6
Issue
- Dmidecode is not able to fetch DMI details in Red Hat Entperprise Linux 6. Following error is observed while running dmidecode command . .
$ cat dmidecode
# dmidecode 2.10
# No SMBIOS nor DMI entry point found, sorry.
- Even dmesg logs show DMI not present.
DMI not present or invalid
- There are few ACPI warnings also :
