issue connecting to HornetQ

Issue

  • We have a production JBoss EAP 6.3.3 instance running HornetQ JMS topic. The client is unable to subscribe to the topic, and receives connection errors. Firewall should not be an issue; we've verified that tcp ports 3528, 4447, 5445, 5455, and 8080 are open to the client. Supposedly all ports are fully open to the client. Tcpdump packet capture shows only abrupt disconnection when the JMS subscription is attempted. In essence, the client and HornetQ server are configured in the exact same way on the two environments, but the production JMS subscription is failing.
