Issue

  • Do "local" volume groups accessible to only one node in a cluster need to have the clustered attribute set in RHEL?
  • I want to extend some logical volumes and file systems on a cluster node. Some volume group have the clustered ('c') attribute, but this volume group does not. Do I have to do anything special to extend these?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the High Availability Add On
