Upon deletion of an IPaddr2 resource, a node was fenced following "ERROR: IP address (the ip parameter) is mandatory" in a RHEL 7 High Availability cluster

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • We deleted an IPaddr2 resource and the node it was running on was fenced
  • I wanted to remove my floating IP, so I unmanaged it, disabled it, and deleted the resource. This caused a node to be fenced with an error saying the IP parameter is mandatory
