After upgrading to RHEL 7.3 my automount maps are not found in LDAP

Issue

• SSSD configurations that worked in RHEL 7.2 can't find automount maps stored in LDAP when used on RHEL 7.3 servers
• Automount maps not found on servers upgraded from RHEL 7.2 to RHEL 7.3
• Automount not functioning on new RHEL 7.3 server using SSSD configuration from RHEL 7.2 or older
• SSSD is printing the following message to /var/log/messages

Sep  1 12:53:34 rhel73host sssd[be[OpenLDAP]]: Your configuration uses the autofs provider with schema set to rfc2307 and default attribute mappings. The default map has changed in this release, please make sure the configuration matches the server attributes.
