Why my RHEL 3 hangs after 497 days up?
Issue
- When a 32 bit system using kernel 2.4 reachs 497 days up (uptime is 497 and over) it hangs and is necessary perform a reboot to solve the problem.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3
- Kernel 2.4
