iSNS discovery through offload ifaces fails with error 'iscsiadm: iface bnx2i.<mac-addr> is not valid'
Issue
- iSNS (Internet Storage Name Service) discovery through offload
ifacesfails withiscsiadm. -
iscsiadmdiscovery using iSNS failed to bind with offloadifaces.
Here is the command:$ iscsiadm -m discovery -t isns -p 192.168.1.2 -I bnx2i.00:0e:1e:13:1d:f1 Error Output: iscsiadm: iface bnx2i.00:0e:1e:13:1d:f1 is not valid. Will not bind node to it. Iface settings [hw=,ip=,net_if=,iscsi_if=bnx2i.00:0e:1e:13:1d:f1] iscsiadm: No portals found
