RHGS/RHSC: Lost four bricks after adding two nodes in the cluster

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

The operation was done using the Red Hat Storage Console (rhsc), while node 3 was down.

The bricks for node 3 were reported as not online by the other nodes, as shown below:

Brick node03:/gluster/node03/data01 N/A N/A N N/A
Brick node03:/gluster/node03/input N/A N/A N N/A
Brick node03:/gluster/node03/largeoutput N/A N/A N N/A
Brick node03:/gluster/node03/data02 N/A N/A N N/A
Brick node03:/gluster/node03/output N/A N/A N N/A

However, the bricks were actually running on node 3.

  • Peer status on other nodes showed two instances of node 3.
  • Peer status from node 3 looks good.

Environment
