In RHEL, how do I print from my application which generates printer escape codes for formatting?
Issue
-
The printing through application is not working. The application adds this code to the document for proper formatting:
<ESC>&l1O<ESC>&l8D<ESC>(s0p16h0s2b4102T<ESC>&a10Lbut the escape codes are not having an effect.
-
Our application generates labels for Zebra printers. The labels aren't printing, though. Just a bunch of text with some extra characters with carets (
^) around the text.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), all versions
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS), all versions
