RHGS Brick Creation on VMware VMDKs

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

Issue #1
Referencing the article Formatting and Mounting Bricks:

It is unclear if when creating a thinly provisioned volume, one Logical Volume per Volume Group for a brick is the only acceptable method. Is the creation of multiple Logical Volumes per Volume Group supported and, if so, must they be thinly provisioned (lvm snapshots are not required)?

Issue #2
Should fdisk be used to create primary/extended and/or logical partitions or can pvcreate be run directly on the /dev/sdb vmdk?

Issue #3
What is the recommended maximum number of disks (vmdks) for a 2 node replicated setup?

https://access.redhat.com/articles/66206 indicates 12, 24, and 60 disks for JBOD. Does this also apply to VMDKs?
