Receive "Cannot instantiate class: weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory" error in JON

Issue

  • I manually configured a JON JMX resource for remote WebLogic Server v10.3.2 and included weblogic wljmxclient.jar in connection properties
  • I'm receiving the following error:
    • Caused by: javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Cannot instantiate class: weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory [Root exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory]
