VMware errors quiescing guests running RHEL
Issue
- While tacking a snapshot of a Red Hat Enterprise Linux guest I get the error "An error occurred while quiescing the virtual machine. See the virtual machine's event log for details" from VMware.
Environment
- VMware ESXi 5.5U2
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
